Much of the existing SSI and Decentralised Identity tooling are still cumbersome, time-consuming, and challenging for newcomers. Credential Service offers a secure, reliable, and easy to use solution that can get anyone up and running fast. Now, application developers can effortlessly issue and manage credentials by using simple API services. It supports features such as Verifiable Credentials and Presentations, Decentralised Identifiers (DIDs) and Identity Keys, and Revocation Registries, and in the near future Credential Payments. For our partners, they can choose to use a simple set of API services rather than needing to integrate more complex and nuanced Software Development Kits (SDKs).
