We wanted to test Creds on a large scale and within a lot of variables and also create a big splash in terms of PR. Another reason was to show Creds to builders in a step to accelerate adoption. We set the event as our deadline to increase the speed of development and give you, our community, a smoother and quicker way to claim your community credentials. The Cred claiming process has drastically improved since our initial version and it reached a point that it's ready for our community to take advantage of. Remember, alongside your community Creds, there will be exclusive Creds for those that have been with us since the beginning or that have helped us reach our current stage.
