🎙 Start strong to be a winner, and impress the kids. We’re gonna show you all, how to write the DIDs 🌍 We started on a mission, to turn some heads To share around the world, our kickass work on Creds. 📅 It came around quick, and has gone so soon. Let’s take a look back at the month of June! Product Updates 🆔 Introducing Credential Service 🆔 We're enabling quicker onboarding and adoption for companies interested in issuing Verifiable Credentials (VCs). Credential Service provides an easily accessible and guided approach focusing on being self-service. This means, companies will have access to a set of APIs that will facilitate their issuance of VCs and if needs be we'll provide assistance and support. In the last week of June we released two new features. The first feature allows customers to authenticate with Credential Service and have their own roles and permissions. The second is a fully working version of Status List associated with those authenticated client accounts. Alongside DID management and credential issuance, customers will be able to suspend and revoke Verifiable Credentials using DID-Linked resources. While we're still working on making it look nicer, you can cheq it out here. ⭐️ Creds' new look ⭐️ cheq out the official logo and branding for Creds. It's quite different from the placeholder, as we wanted to create something totally different to represent the unique and empowering experience of building and sharing your reputation. Head over to creds.xyz and check out the new look and feel. Governance & Community 📝 Proposal #31 - zkCreds on-chain verification with revocation checks 📝 NYMLAB proposal to receive €45,000 (eqv. in CHEQ) from the cheqd Community Pool for the implementation of an IBC call for on-chain ZKCreds revocation check, allowing cheqd to be further integrated with the Cosmos ecosystem and beyond has passed. Read the discussion here. 📝 Proposal #30 - Increasing DID module "Burn_Factor" Parameter to 99% 📝 The parameter-change governance proposal to increase the Burn Factor to 99% for Decentralised Identifier (DID) operations has passed. Increasing the "Burn Factor" to 99% will have a direct effect on counteracting inflation. Read the discussion here. ⚔️ cheqd Zealy board quests ⚔️ We've launched the cheqd community Zealy board, and it's filled with quests to keep our loyal community up to date with our content and give them the opportunity to grab some rewards for doing so.This will be the start of everyone getting the opportunity to start building their reputation and Creds collection. The first sprint has already begun and runs until 7th July 1800 UTC+1. There will be rewards for the top XP holders on the leaderboard so make sure you join. Join the journey, connect with Discord, and take your reputation to the next level. 📜 New Blog 📜 We just published our first Creds blog. It begins with a very hot topic of how building a community-first strategy powered by digital credentials is vital for Web3 projects to take off. In the age of Web3, where decentralised decision-making, mass participation and “memeable” ideas can enable a project to thrive, it’s all about community building, argues Ross Power. Reputation plays a pivotal role in establishing community trust, credibility and protection. That’s why enabling members to build their reputation with the help of community credentials (Creds) benefits the individuals and strengthens the overall reputation and trustworthiness of the community itself. Read more here. New cheqmate - Introducing Ivan A warm welcome to Ivan Molto, our new Senior Full Stack Engineer. Ivan has worked across a wide range of relevant projects/technologies, including SSI with IBM on Hyperledger Fabric, which brings previous experience with DIDs and VCs. Alongside contributing to DAOs and building iOS and Android applications, Ivan has also previously worked with the Cosmos SDK. He loves reading, swimming, playing table tennis and participating in Web3 hackathons in his spare time. Welcome aboard, Ivan!
